Sitagu Sayadaw donates US$10,000 to flood-affected Nepalese citizens

It is reported that State Ovada Cariya, Head of Shwekyin Nikaya, Sitagu Sayadaw, has donated US$10,000 to Nepalese citizens who faced floods in Nepal. The donation ceremony was held on the afternoon of September 13 at Sitagu Buddhist University (Yangon) in Dagon New Town (North), Yangon Region. Sitagu Sayadaw stated that the donation was made to assist Nepalese citizens whose homes were destroyed by the floods that occurred in Nepal on August 26, 2026. Following this, Sitagu Sayadaw presented the US$10,000, which was received by the Nepalese Ambassador to Myanmar. The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the compassionate donations from the government of Myanmar, a partner nation, and also conveyed his joy for the Sitagu Sayadaw's benevolent support and donation.
