Cambodia Hosts ASEAN Meeting, Pushes for Tech Upgrades to Combat Cross-Border Crime
Cambodia hosted the 29th ASEAN Directors-General of Immigration and Heads of Consular Affairs Meeting in Siem Reap. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sar Sokha, urged member states to upgrade technology and systems to counter emerging threats like cybercrime and online scams. The meeting reviewed 30 years of cooperation and discussed future regional collaboration.
