Collective Planting of Tissue Banana : MGY Region CM delivered the opening speech

By being able to cultivate, produce, and provide fresh, nutritious crops within the school environment themselves, it can greatly contribute to the health of the students," said Chief Minister of Magway Region, U Tin Ko Ko, during the collective tissue cultured banana planting ceremony held on the morning of August 8 at the No. 1 Basic Education High School compound. At the ceremony, a total of 120 tissue-cultured banana saplings were planted. Moreover, to promote the nutritional development of students, tissue-cultured banana plants will continue to be planted proportionally based on the number of students at basic education schools across the region. Similarly, Chief Minister and officials attended the Magway Region Natural Disaster Management Committee Work Coordination Meeting, held at the Region Government Office's meeting hall. At the meeting, Chairman of the Magway Region Natural Disaster Management Committee and Chief Minister of the Region, U Tin Ko Ko, stated that during this period, it is necessary to pay attention to regional conditions and prioritize preparedness for storms, river flooding, and other subsequent disasters that commonly occur. He emphasized that each region must anticipate potential hazards and prepare for needs in advance, and he called for discussions on the implementation of sectoral activities. Subsequently, the secretaries of the 12 working committees presented and discussed the status of relief and assistance operations for affected communities in the region, as well as the coordination efforts among the groups.
