Police have arrested 11 Myanmar nationals who were found in possession of ketamine (Ketamine) illegal drugs during a raid on an illegally operated Myanmar bar in Wang Thonglang district, Bangkok, Thailand, police said. The raid was conducted around 1:30 AM today (August 2) at an unlicensed building on Pradit Manutham 2 Road. It was discovered that people inside were using illegal drugs and dancing to loud music. During the police search, approximately 0.5 grams of ketamine and drug paraphernalia were found. It was also confirmed that beer was being sold without a license. Among the 11 arrested Myanmar nationals, one is a minor under 18 years old and is being investigated for drug use. Furthermore, police stated that some did not possess passports, which are legally required to be carried. The Thai owner of the bar was also arrested and is facing charges including allowing drug use, permitting minors into an illegal entertainment venue, selling alcohol without a license, operating an illegal entertainment business, and selling alcohol outside of permitted hours.
