Toyo Tires Opens First Auto Service Center in Vietnam's Central Highlands
Toyo Tires inaugurated its first Auto Centre in Vietnam's Central Highlands (Tây Nguyên) in Buôn Ma Thuột on September 20, aiming to expand its service network and reach car tire users in the region. The new facility, Tâm Nguyên Phát, offers comprehensive tire services and car care.
Toyo Tires has opened its first auto tire service center in Vietnam's Central Highlands (Tây Nguyên) region in Buôn Ma Thuột city on September 20. The facility, named Toyo Tires Auto Centre Tâm Nguyên Phát, aims to expand the brand's service network and better serve car tire users in the strategically important Tây Nguyên area. The new center, located at 811 Hà Huy Tập Street, Buôn Ma Thuột City, spans over 145 square meters. It offers a comprehensive range of tire-related services and car care, including product consultation, tire replacement, dynamic balancing, tire rotation, wheel alignment, and periodic inspections. This opening marks a significant step in Toyo Tires' plan to broaden its service presence across Vietnam, where it currently operates 6 Auto Centres, 3 T Centres, and nearly 30 dealerships nationwide. Buôn Ma Thuột was chosen due to its strategic economic and transportation importance within the Tây Nguyên region. Furthermore, the location benefits from the long-standing presence of Tâm Nguyên Phát, a local partner with 15 years of experience in the tire and car care sector. Toyo Tires highlighted that the unique transportation demands of the Tây Nguyên region, including long-distance transport of agricultural products and challenging terrains with slopes and complex conditions, necessitate durable tires and readily available technical services. The Buôn Ma Thuột center is envisioned as a model for evaluating the potential expansion of Auto Centres to other localities within the Tây Nguyên region, which is considered a priority market for network development in the coming period. Toyo Tires Auto Centres are designed with consistent standards in branding, layout, equipment, and service procedures. Technicians undergo specialized training on products and tire-related techniques. Beyond the technical bays, customer lounges are provided, reflecting a shift from a mere product sales point to a hub for vehicle consultation and care following unified protocols. The center will focus on two main product lines: Proxes for passenger cars, SUVs, and sports cars used for daily driving; and Open Country for SUVs and pickup trucks frequently used for long journeys or on complex terrains like gravel and mud. Tâm Nguyên Phát, the operating partner, has been active in tire distribution and car care in Tây Nguyên since 2011. The company operates 6 passenger car tire branches and 4 truck tire branches across Đắk Lắk, Đắk Nông, and Lâm Đồng provinces. The inauguration coincides with Tâm Nguyên Phát's 15th anniversary. The company's director expressed that the firm's growth is built on customer trust and the collaboration with partners and staff. Ian Tan, General Director of YHI Vietnam, the exclusive distributor of Toyo Tires in Vietnam, praised Tâm Nguyên Phát's strategic role in bringing Japanese-standard products closer to Vietnamese consumers. "Toyo Tires will continue to research and expand Auto Centre networks in areas with development needs. The Buôn Ma Thuột center is considered a first step to evaluate the market and expand our presence in Tây Nguyên," Tan stated. Source: VnExpress
