Indonesia to Absorb 230,000 Part-Time PPPK Teachers to Full-Time Without Exam by 2027

The Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology has announced a plan to transition approximately 230,000 part-time Government Employee Contract (PPPK) teachers to full-time positions without requiring additional examinations by 2027. This measure aims to stabilize teacher employment and enhance the quality of the educational environment. The PPPK system is a form of civil servant recruitment in Indonesia, particularly introduced in the teaching sector to address the long-standing shortage of permanent teachers.
