Water Concessionaires Told to Secure Alternate Sources Amid Stronger El Niño

Philippine water concessionaires have been instructed to secure alternative water sources as a more severe El Niño is expected to reduce water supply in Metro Manila starting October. The National Water Resources Board (NWRB) cited potential tapping of sources like Laguna Lake, Cavite, and Upper Wawa Dam to lessen reliance on Angat Dam.
