The National Unity Government (NUG) -Ministry of Defence under the Interim Government of Magway Federal Unit established two more temporary defence columns. -Under the Ministry of Defence-NUG, Bago Regional People’s Defence Force set up Special Task Force (1). -The Ministry of Health-NUG spent 28,270.90 million MMK for healthcare services over the revolution period of more than five years. Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs) -In Yekyi Township on the border of Rakhine State and Ayeyarwady Region, the Arakan Army attacked and seized 2 junta’s security outposts on Thursday and Friday. -On the 77th Karen National Liberation Army Day, Chair of Karen National Union Padoh Saw Kwe Htoo Win stated that the military junta is just an armed force which only focuses on their power and the interest of affiliated ones, rather than the interests of the country and its people. -The Central Health Department of Karenni Nationalities Defence Force, Free Burma Rangers and Karenni Army jointly organized training for frontline medical comrades. The Military Junta -In Aungmyay Thazan Township of Mandalay Region, Ko Saw Naing Oo (alias) Maung Naing, who had been released from prison in an amnesty, allegedly opened fire with a gun and swore. Reportedly, he was detained again by the junta police. -U Tin Aung San, the junta’s Minister for the President Office, attended the state funeral for former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Tehran, Iran. -The military junta claimed that they had regained control over Mezar Village and Nantthe Village in Indaw Township of Upper Sagaing Region. -In Tontay Township of Yangon Region, 2 ships collided in Tontay Canal. Reportedly, a ship worker is still missing. -The junta leader Min Aung Hlaing and his wife departed from Luang Prabang International Airport for Myanmar. -In 2026-2027 rainy crop season, Rice Export Zones will be established in Naypyidaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady. -According to the junta’s Ministry of Health, a 8-story pediatric treatment building was officially opened at the Mandalay 550-Bed Children’s Hospital. -Myanmar and Laos signed a joint agreement on a feasibility study to explore the implementation of a hydropower project along the Mekong River on the Myanmar-Laos border, in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the electricity sector between the two countries.
