Phnom Penh Police Crack Down on Online Scam Hub, Arrest 8 Foreign Nationals
Phnom Penh authorities on July 6 raided a suspected online scam operation in a villa in the Dangkao district, arresting eight foreign nationals, seven from Bangladesh and one from Myanmar. They are believed to have targeted countries including the United States, Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia with romance scams and fraudulent investment schemes.
