Honda Launches New Super Cub Model, Priced From VND 87.3 Million

Honda launched its new Super Cub model on September 5, adding modern features and new color options while retaining its iconic classic design. The engine meets Euro 4 emission standards. Originating in the 1950s, the Super Cub is one of Honda's symbolic motorcycle models, familiar to many generations in Vietnam. In its latest iteration, Honda has preserved the characteristic design DNA and incorporated modern details and a wider array of color choices. The design of the new model continues the classic style. It features an S-shaped body, handlebars curved like bird wings, and a rounded fairing with flowing lines. Overall, the design evokes the Super Cub C100 from the 1960s. A highlight of the new version is the stylized 3D wing logo placed on both sides. Round LED headlights are complemented by chrome-plated details. The characteristic round instrument panel features a chrome bezel and a central LCD screen, displaying essential operational information. In addition to the previous matte black option, the new model introduces two fresh color choices: matte gray and white silver. The front brake is a disc type, paired with 17-inch alloy cast wheels and tubeless tires. The seat is equipped with urethane padding. The smart key system also includes anti-theft and location tracking functions. Powered by a 125cc engine with PGM-FI electronic fuel injection, the Honda Super Cub meets Euro 4 emission standards. Honda states that the engine has been optimized for improved fuel efficiency and performance, with a 32% reduction in emissions compared to the previous version. The classic model will be available in two versions: Standard and Special Edition, with suggested retail prices of VND 87.32 million (approx. $3,600 USD) and VND 88.35 million (approx. $3,640 USD) respectively, including 8% VAT. The vehicles are expected to be available at Honda authorized dealers nationwide from September 12.
