World Bank: 4Ps a 'Far More Effective' Program for Reducing Poverty

The World Bank has lauded the Philippines' Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) as significantly more effective in poverty reduction than many other government assistance schemes. The bank estimates that for every peso spent, 4Ps achieves approximately 200 times more poverty reduction impact compared to VAT exemptions.
