Vietnam and South Korea Elevate Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man met with South Korean Prime Minister Han Seong-sook in Seoul on September 7 as part of his official visit to South Korea. During the meeting, both leaders agreed to further develop the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and South Korea. They confirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation, particularly in areas of economy, innovation, and enhancing competitiveness, to create new momentum. The South Korean side expressed its readiness to accompany Vietnam on its development path. This indicates the strong cooperative relationship between the two countries and South Korea's continued willingness to support Vietnam's economic growth. Vietnam, under its one-party system, has achieved rapid economic growth, and South Korea is a significant investor and a crucial partner for Vietnam in technological cooperation and supply chains. This meeting is expected to further deepen economic ties between the two nations and enhance Vietnam's international standing in the region.
