Vietnam-Duc Friendship Hospital Ninh Binh Branch Serves Nearly 2,200 Patients in First Week

The newly established Vietnam-Duc Friendship Hospital in Ninh Binh province, northern Vietnam, has received nearly 2,200 patient visits in just over a week since its official opening (July 9-17, 2026). Among these, over 330 cases were emergency admissions, and 55 emergency surgeries were performed. This development is helping to meet the demand for advanced and specialized medical services from residents in the region. Notably, the hospital handled two severe multi-trauma cases resulting from a bus accident on the Phap Van-Cau Gie Expressway. The hospital performed its first surgery on the very day of its inauguration. Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has emphasized the goal of building modern hospitals and developing a comprehensive, advanced healthcare ecosystem. He attended the inauguration ceremony of the Vietnam-Duc Friendship Hospital's Ninh Binh branch, underscoring the government's commitment to healthcare infrastructure development.
