Kandal Province Officials Inspect Ta Khmau City for Pedestrian Pathway Development
Ta Khmau City in Cambodia is set to undergo pedestrian pathway improvements, incorporating public input to enhance accessibility and urban aesthetics. The project aims to facilitate easier movement for all citizens and foster a more pleasant urban environment.
In Ta Khmau City, Kandal Province, Cambodia, on September 7, 2026, Deputy Governor of Kandal Province, Nub Dara, led a delegation of Ta Khmau City authorities and relevant officials to inspect and study various locations within the city for the preparation of pedestrian pathway improvements. Deputy Governor Nub Dara stated that this inspection was conducted in response to the active cooperation and participation of the citizens of Ta Khmau City in organizing public order in the past. He emphasized that this public road infrastructure improvement project will not only facilitate travel for people with disabilities and the general public but also significantly contribute to enhancing the aesthetics, orderliness, and cleanliness of Ta Khmau City. The roads under study for improvement include National Road No. 2, Road No. 21, Road No. 107, and Road No. 206, located within the geographical area of Ta Khmau City. The plan is to prepare these areas as pedestrian pathways for people with disabilities, walking spaces for the general public, and to arrange gardens, thereby ensuring Ta Khmau City has better aesthetics and public order, in line with the leadership strategy of the Royal Government of Cambodia.
