Kandal Governor Vows to Eradicate Illegal Fishing
Kandal Province Governor Kuoch Chamroeun has vowed to eradicate illegal fishing systems within the province, stating that any public officials involved will face strict legal action without exception. From January to October 2026, 176 cases of illegal fishing were suppressed, with numerous fishing gear confiscated and destroyed.
