Transjakarta Adjusts 8 Routes Amidst Central Jakarta Protest

Transjakarta has implemented temporary operational adjustments for eight of its routes following a protest in Central Jakarta on Thursday, September 24, 2026. These adjustments include temporary suspensions, route shortenings, and diversions. Ayu Wardhani, Head of Public Relations and CSR at Transjakarta, stated that the adjustments are due to a demonstration occurring in the Central Jakarta area. "In connection with the demonstration in the Central Jakarta area, here are the details of 8 Transjakarta routes that are experiencing operational adjustments," said Ayu in Jakarta, Thursday (24/9/2026). Ayu stated that two routes have been temporarily suspended: BW4 (IRTI–Bundaran Senayan) and BW2 (Jakarta Baru). Meanwhile, route shortenings have been applied to route 6B (Ragunan–Balai Kota via Semanggi) and route 6A (Ragunan–Balai Kota via Kuningan). "6B (Ragunan – Balai Kota via Semanggi): Only operates up to Balai Kota," said Ayu. "6A (Ragunan – Balai Kota via Kuningan): Only operates up to Balai Kota," Ayu stated. Route 1A (Balai Kota–Pantai Maju) has also undergone adjustments. Ayu said that this route will not serve the Balai Kota Bus Stop & Halte. Diversions are in place for three routes. Specifically, route 2A (Pulo Gadung 1–Rawa Buaya) and route 2 (Pulo Gadung 1–Monas), for the direction of Pulo Gadung, will not serve the Balai Kota and Gambir 2 Halte. Meanwhile, route 1P (Senen–Blok M) will not serve the IRTI Monas Bus Stop up to the Gambir 2 Bus Stop. "These adjustments are temporary and will be updated following the traffic conditions in the field," she said.
