Cambodia's Ministry of Information Convenes Mid-Year Review to Strengthen Party Organization

On August 2, 2026, Cambodia's Ministry of Information convened a meeting to review the work results of the first half of 2026 and set the direction for the second half of the year. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Net Pheaktra, Chairman of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Information and a member of the Party Central Committee. The event, held at the headquarters of the Cambodian People's Party in Phnom Penh, also included the announcement of additional members to the Ministry's Party Committee. Over 800 party leaders and members from the Ministry of Information attended. Mr. Net Pheaktra emphasized the importance of reviewing the first half's work results. This process allows for the evaluation of achievements, strengths, and challenges, thereby establishing clear objectives for more effective implementation of tasks in the second half of the year. He also commended all party members for their diligent efforts and active contributions to fulfilling their duties and carrying out the work of the party and the Ministry of Information. The appointment of additional members to the Ministry's Party Committee aims to strengthen the party's leadership and operational efficiency.
