House Panel Boosts DOH Aid, Healthcare Infrastructure

A special House panel has boosted funding for the Department of Health’s (DOH) medical assistance program and healthcare infrastructure projects. The move aims to reduce hospitalization costs and strengthen public hospitals nationwide, with increased funds allocated for the Medical Assistance to Indigent and Financially Incapacitated Patients (MAIFIP).
