Baby Among 5 Dead in Caloocan City Residential Fire

MANILA, Philippines — Five individuals, including an 11-month old infant, died in a residential fire in Caloocan City early Sunday morning, the Caloocan City Fire Station confirmed. The fire was reported at 1:01 a.m. in a two-storey apartment with six units at Sinilyasi St., Barangay 8, Caloocan City. Five minutes later, the fire was raised to the second alarm, indicating a significant blaze. Firefighters immediately responded and worked to contain the fire, but it spread rapidly. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Bureau of Fire Protection.
