Cambodia: "Effective Control" by Thai Military Not Legal Sovereignty, States Information Minister
Cambodia's Minister of Information, Net Pheaktra, stated that "effective control" by the Thai military over Cambodian territory does not constitute legal sovereignty, based on international law. He emphasized that border disputes should be resolved through law and evidence, not force.
