Vietnam, US Pledge to Strengthen Cooperation for New Chapter in Bilateral Ties
Vietnamese Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung expressed hope that the two countries will jointly open a new chapter of stable, substantive, and effective development in their relationship, based on mutual respect for independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political regimes, as well as mutual benefit. The countries are showing moves toward deepening ties, including strengthening friendship through the Pacific Partnership, expanding investment in high-tech sectors, and signing an MoU for real-time customs data exchange.
