Blackmores Launches Sugar-Free 'Fizzers' Vitamins in Thailand
Australian health supplement giant Blackmores has launched 'Blackmores Fizzers' in Thailand, a new sugar-free vitamin supplement in dissolvable granule form. Targeting younger, health-conscious consumers, the launch taps into Thailand's growing wellness market.
Blackmores, a leading Australian health supplement company, has launched its new product line, "Blackmores Fizzers," in the Thai market. This innovative vitamin supplement comes in a fizzy granule form, designed to be fun, refreshing, and sugar-free. The launch event, themed "INTO THE FIZZERS WORLD: More Fizz…More Health," introduced the new product line, which features Fizzy Granules that dissolve easily. Consumers can enjoy them mixed with water, allowed to dissolve in the mouth, or chewed directly. Mrs. Priti Halai, country manager of Blackmores Thailand, stated that Fizzers is a new product developed with plans for a global rollout, with Thailand being among the first countries to introduce it. She explained that the idea for Fizzers stemmed from consumer feedback indicating that taking multiple supplements in pill form could be inconvenient, especially for individuals managing various health needs. "The idea of Fizzers came from consumers who told us that it was too much work to take each pill for everything they wanted," Mrs. Priti said. Blackmores observes a broader shift in Thai consumer behavior, with a growing trend towards a more holistic approach to health rather than focusing on isolated concerns. Thailand represents Blackmores' largest market in Southeast Asia and South Korea, making it a crucial region for the company's product portfolio expansion. Mrs. Priti highlighted that brand trust and product quality are more significant factors for Thai consumers than price when choosing vitamin and dietary supplements. "As a result, even when we see changes in consumers’ purchasing power, vitamin supplements are not necessarily the first products to be affected," she noted. Currently, Blackmores Thailand holds a 24% market share in the country's vitamin and dietary supplement market, valued at 12 billion baht. The market is projected to grow by 7.8% this year, driven by increased consumer focus on preventive healthcare. This growth has intensified competition, leading to new market entrants and product innovation from established players. Blackmores Fizzers are available in three formulations: Immu Plus (Orange flavour): Contains vitamin D3, vitamin C, and zinc, designed to support daily immune health. Nicotinamide Plus (Mixed berry flavour): Contains nicotinamide, zinc, and vitamin C, offering an option for consumers focused on skin care and overall well-being. Performance Plus (Strawberry and apple flavour): Contains 225mg of magnesium, designed for consumers seeking to support muscle health. The company is primarily targeting younger, health-conscious consumers and plans to leverage influencer marketing for rapid reach. Blackmores currently offers over 50 vitamin and dietary supplement SKUs and aims for 18.6% revenue growth this year in Thailand. Revenue grew 16.8% year-on-year during the first half of 2026. About Blackmores: Founded in Queensland, Australia, in 1932 by Maurice Blackmore, a pioneering naturopath, Blackmores has operated for over 90 years under the philosophy that "nature is the answer to health."
