Man Found Dead in Kandal Province, Robbery Suspected; Authorities Investigating

A man with multiple wounds was found dead in an oil palm plantation in Ang Snoul district, Kandal Province, Cambodia, on the night of September 21, 2026. Local residents discovered the victim lying in a pool of blood while passing by the area along National Road 51 and reported it to the police. According to witnesses at the scene, the victim appeared to have sustained several stab wounds. The Toul Prech commune police and Ang Snoul district police responded to the scene and secured the area. The body remained at the scene until the morning of September 22, when forensic technicians from the Kandal Provincial Police's Technical and Scientific Office conducted an examination and autopsy to gather clues regarding the cause of death.
