Toul Kork Authorities Act Against "So City" Owner for Sidewalk Encroachment and Insulting Citizens

In Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the district administration of Toul Kork has taken action against the owner of a business named "So City" for allegedly encroaching on public sidewalks and verbally abusing citizens. The business in question, "So City," is owned by a Ms. Tang Muy Lirng and is located on Mao Tse Toung Boulevard in Phsar Depo I Commune, Toul Kork District. According to reports, the owner had occupied a public sidewalk, preventing citizens from parking their vehicles, and had used abusive language towards them. In response, Mr. Chea Pisey, Governor of Toul Kork District, has instructed Mr. Sim Sophon, Deputy Governor, to lead the district's unified command forces to the scene. They were tasked with documenting the incident, educating the business owner, and demanding an immediate halt to the inappropriate activities, along with a public apology. However, upon the authorities' arrival at the location, the owner was reportedly absent, and the premises were locked and empty. As the owner has not yet come forward to resolve the issue, the Toul Kork District Unified Command has stated that authorities will visit the location again the following morning at 9:00 AM to demand the owner's appearance to sign a document ceasing the activity and to issue a public apology for their actions.
