Union Minister for Health Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win, accompanied by Directors-General from the Ministry, the Medical Superintendent of Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1,000-bed) and officials, inspected and encouraged the collective cleaning activities carried out at Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1,000-bed) on September 19 to mark and honour the 62nd Myanmar Police Force Day. The collective cleaning activities were carried out by 660 personnel from the Myanmar Police Force under the Ministry of Home Affairs and 120 staff members of Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1,000-bed) in areas including the Emergency Department, Radiology Department, Surgical Department, Blood Bank and Orthopaedic Department. The Union Minister subsequently encouraged the efforts of police personnel to systematically arrange and organize electrical and Internet fibre-optic cables within the hospital, the cutting and clearing of hazardous tree branches in the hospital compound with the assistance of firefighters, and measures being undertaken to enhance the appearance and beautify the facades of the hospital buildings. It is reported that Deputy Minister for Home Affairs Maj-Gen. Min Thu, and officials from the Myanmar Police Force also visited the collective cleaning activities, encouraged the personnel and delivered words of encouragement to them.
