The Cambodian Ministry of Health has integrated the rotavirus vaccine into the national immunization program, offering it free of charge nationwide to combat diarrhea, a common illness in children that can lead to severe complications if not treated promptly. According to a recent educational video released by the Ministry of Health, rotavirus can spread from person to person through direct fecal-oral contact or indirectly through contaminated food, water, and objects.
