Troy Harold Yohanes Pantouw, the spokesperson for Indonesia's new capital Nusantara (IKN), has passed away on Saturday, July 25th. He was 58 years old. The news of his passing was announced by IKN through their official Instagram account, @IKN_ID. "We express our deepest condolences on the passing of Troy Harold Yohanes Pantouw, Special Staff to the Head of the IKN Authority for Public Communication," the post read. Born on May 8, 1968, Pantouw had a long career in the field of communication, including experience working in television media. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he also served as the Chairperson of the Public Communication Sub-Bid of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force. The Head of the IKN Authority, Basuki Hadimuljono, also shared a similar message of condolence on his social media account @basukihadimuljono. Pantouw's passing is seen as a significant loss, particularly given his role in communicating the progress and vision of the ambitious IKN project, which is a key initiative of the current administration.
