Celebrity Couple's Son Pulled by Bali Waves, Father Feels Like a Failure

A harrowing experience during a family vacation in Bali has come to light for Indonesian celebrity couple Meisya Siregar and Bebi Romeo. Their youngest son, Muhammad Bambang Arr Ray Bach, narrowly escaped a fatal encounter with a large wave that swept him away near the shoreline. The incident serves as a stark reminder of parental responsibility and the unpredictable power of nature. Meisya Siregar recounted on her personal Instagram account that while Bambang had grown up accustomed to the sea and beaches, and was known for his bravery, a moment of lapse in vigilance proved nearly catastrophic. "Until that day, the day we were careless. We sat a little far from the shoreline, letting Bambang play with his friends without truly watching his every second. Initially, everything seemed normal. The children were playing, laughing, enjoying the waves, until suddenly a big wave came and Bambang disappeared. In that second, it felt like the world stopped. It turned out Bambang was swept away by the wave," she stated. Fortunately, fellow artist Irvan Farhad and Hamidah Rachmayanti, who were also present with their children, along with a local lifeguard, were instrumental in Bambang's swift rescue. However, the ordeal has left deep emotional scars on the family. Bebi Romeo, in particular, is reportedly struggling with immense guilt, feeling he failed as a father, as expressed by Meisya. While Bambang himself initially experienced fear and expressed a desire to return home, he miraculously recovered his courage the following day and wanted to play on the beach again. Nevertheless, Meisya and Bebi's perspective on beach safety has been irrevocably altered.
