Vietnam and France Boost Cooperation in Culture, Economy, and Education
During Vietnamese President To Lam's official visit to France, both nations expressed intentions to enhance cultural exchanges, deepen economic and financial cooperation, and establish new partnerships in railway technology. Specifics of cultural collaboration were discussed during a meeting with the French Minister of Culture.
Within the framework of the official visit to the French Republic by General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife, on September 10, Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly, wife of the General Secretary and President, had a meeting and exchanged views with French Minister of Culture Catherine Pégard. The meeting affirmed the importance of the trusted partnership between the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance and the French Development Agency. Discussions also focused on promoting economic and financial cooperation between Vietnam and France. Vietnam and France signed a cooperation agreement to establish a Railway Technology School, signaling a new phase of technical collaboration in infrastructure development. This visit also serves to strengthen the traditional solidarity and friendly relations between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the French Communist Party.
