Intense Heatwave Grips Northern and Central Vietnam, Raising Fire and Heatstroke Risks

Vietnam is experiencing an intense heatwave, with temperatures exceeding 39 degrees Celsius in some central regions as of June 19. This extreme heat, combined with low humidity, significantly increases the risk of fires in residential areas and forests, as well as heatstroke. The northern midlands, plains, and central coastal areas are particularly affected.
