It has been learned that one illegal eight-storey building used in online scam and gambling in the Shwe Kokko area has been newly demolished, and a total of 71 illegal buildings have been demolished so far. Joint teams from relevant authorities are carrying out the complete demolition of illegal buildings in the Shwe Kokko area and KK Park area in Myawaddy Township, Kayin State, which have been bases for online scam and gambling, as well as the systematic demolition of materials used in these operations. It has been learned that on July 10, one illegal eight-storey building in the Shwe Kokko area was newly demolished by blasting. Within the Shwe Kokko area, the 77 buildings used in online scam and gambling businesses have been classified into 57 buildings to be demolished by vehicles and 20 buildings to be demolished by blasting, and demolition work is being systematically carried out. On July 10, one eight-storey building was newly demolished among the 20 buildings designated for demolition by blasting. It has been learned that the joint teams from relevant authorities have so far demolished a total of 71 illegal buildings used in online scam and gambling businesses, and the remaining 6 illegal buildings scheduled for demolition will continue to be demolished.
