Cambodia to Build Veterans and Retirees Association Office in Kampong Speu

Deputy Prime Minister and Secretary General of the Veterans and Retirees Association (Ank) of Cambodia, His Excellency Dr. Kun Kim, presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Ank Kampong Speu Provincial Office on the morning of July 15, 2026. The office is located in Tang Tonle Village, Soporeatep Commune, Chbar Mon City, Kampong Speu Province. The office is a generous donation from Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister and First Vice President of the Veterans and Retirees Association of Cambodia, through Mr. Nu Sitha. Following the groundbreaking ceremony, HE Dr. Kun Kim held a meeting and distributed gifts to approximately 100 veteran and retiree families. Each family received 25 kilograms of rice, 2 boxes of instant noodles, 1 bundle of canned fish, 1 bundle of fish sauce, 1 bundle of soy sauce, and 50,000 Riel (approximately $12.5 USD). This initiative signifies the Cambodian government's ongoing commitment to supporting its veterans and retirees.
