Korean SME Association Eyes Cambodian Cosmetics Market, Considers Local Production

The Cambodian Ambassador to Korea met with a delegation from the World Association for Small and Medium Enterprises (WASME) of Korea, discussing their interest in Cambodia's cosmetics market and potential for establishing local production facilities. The meeting took place between Cambodian Ambassador to Korea, H.E. Khoun Phon Ratanak, and a delegation led by Dr. Rhee Sung woo, Secretary General of WASME. WASME is an international organization that supports Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in developing expertise, training, technology, business management, and promotion, boasting approximately 1,000 member companies worldwide over its 45-year history. The delegation expressed keen interest in Cambodia's cosmetics market, with intentions to seek business partners and establish production factories within the country. Ambassador Khoun Phon Ratanak briefed the delegation on the potential, favorable conditions, and benefits of investing in Cambodia, particularly within special economic zones. He also extended an invitation for the delegation to visit Cambodia to conduct further market research and engage in direct discussions with relevant stakeholders.
