Cambodia and Pandemic Fund Strengthen 'One Health' Partnership for Outbreak Preparedness

Cambodia is strengthening its partnership with the Pandemic Fund to enhance its preparedness and response capabilities for potential infectious disease outbreaks, particularly through the 'One Health' approach. This initiative, announced by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Cambodia office on September 23, 2026, aims to bolster national capacity. A Cambodian delegation led by Dr. Yuk Sambath, along with the FAO Cambodia office represented by Ms. Rebekah Bell, met with representatives from the Pandemic Fund. The discussions focused on the progress and priorities of the project titled 'Pandemic Preparedness and Response in Cambodia.' The meeting provided an opportunity to share key achievements to date and exchange views on future directions.
