Buddhist monk, child among four killed in Myanmar military drone attacks

Regime troops stationed at a village in Mandalay’s Ngazun Township launch drone attacks on three nearby villages, killing four and injuring eight others. The attacks occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the villages of Min Min, Kin, and Thauk in Ngazun Township. Witnesses said the military flew drones over these villages from around 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. In Min Min village, a Buddhist monk and a child were killed. Two people were killed in Kin village. Of the eight injured, four were wounded in Kin village and four in Min Min village. Residents of Ngazun Township said the military frequently uses drones in the area. They said the military uses drones to scout villages and carry out attacks. The attack is part of the ongoing conflict in Myanmar, where the military regime continues its crackdown on dissent. Many civilians have lost their lives due to military attacks and other acts of violence.
