Thai Airways to Propose 13 Billion Baht U-Tapao MRO Project to Board

Thai Airways is preparing to submit a 13 billion baht investment plan to its board for an aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility at U-Tapao International Airport. The Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Office confirmed the use of 210 rai as originally planned, aiming for lease agreement signing this year and groundbreaking in 2027.
