Vietnam Proposes Significant Increase in Simplified Tax Threshold

Vietnam's Ministry of Finance has proposed raising the annual revenue threshold for applying the simplified tax method from VND 3 billion to VND 10 billion. If approved, approximately 99.86% of businesses will calculate taxes based on revenue rather than income after costs.
