Arrangements are being made to ensure that mobile communication services are normally available in Lahe Township, Naga Self-Administered Zone, Sagaing Region, said U Thet Win Aung, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications. This was stated in response to a starred question raised by U Mazo Laung Wi, a Member of Parliament from the Lahe constituency, on the 30th day of the second regular session of the third Pyidaungsu Hluttaw, held on July 27, requesting the provision of round-the-clock mobile phone lines, restoration of internet lines, and the appointment of a technically proficient communication officer in Lahe Township. Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications will arrange for technically proficient staff for the mobile stations in Lahe Township, and will conduct on-site inspections based on the stability of the region to ensure normal communication services, which have been interrupted, said Deputy Minister U Thet Win Aung. In Lahe Township, four mobile stations were built and installed, and efforts were made to enable the public to access mobile communication and internet lines by connecting them to nearby microwave long-distance communication lines. However, due to regional instability, communication lines were interrupted at these microwave stations, causing phone and internet lines to be cut off. Therefore, the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications connected three mobile stations to a satellite communication system to provide temporary communication services to the residents of Lahe Township, according to the response of Deputy Minister U Thet Win Aung.
