UMTA Spearheads Tourism Revival in Eastern Shan State via Kengtung-Tachilek FAM Trip
The Union of Myanmar Travel Association (UMTA) recently completed a familiarization trip to Kengtung and Tachilek to boost tourism in Eastern Shan State. The initiative focuses on showcasing cultural heritage and community-based tourism to attract international visitors, following similar efforts on the Yangon-Hpa-An route.
