Jollibee Expands Footprint in North America, Exceeding 100 Stores
Jollibee, the Philippines' beloved fast-food chain, is strengthening its presence in North America, surpassing 100 stores across the US and Canada. With new locations planned, particularly in California, the brand's growing recognition and franchise program are driving its expansion in a key international market.
MANILA, Philippines — Asian food conglomerate Jollibee Foods Corp. (JFC) continues to reinforce its footprint in North America with more store openings for its flagship brand. JFC said Jollibee is poised to further expand in California with upcoming stores in Oxnard, Elk Grove and Roseville, with the Roseville location scheduled to open on Aug. 7 as the brand’s third franchised store in North America. A new Jollibee store in downtown San Francisco, located at 934 Market Street, near the Powell Street BART station, was also opened on July 31. Jollibee now has more than 100 stores across the United States and Canada, strengthening the scale of the group’s flagship brand in a key international growth market. JFC said the new store deepens Jollibee’s presence in the Bay Area, one of its most important US growth markets and home to the brand’s first US location, which opened in Daly City in 1998. “The Bay Area has welcomed Jollibee with open arms ever since we debuted our very first US location in Daly City nearly three decades ago, and we are absolutely thrilled to bring our joyful dining experience to the heart of downtown,” Jollibee North America president Beth Dela Cruz said. “This dynamic city is a milestone location for us as we continue to accelerate our growth across California,” Cruz said. Jollibee, the flagship brand of JFC and a key driver of the company’s international growth ambitions, continues to build mainstream appeal through its differentiated menu, strong value proposition and growing consumer recognition. Through its North American Franchising Program, the brand is accelerating growth across the region, supported by an average unit volume of $4.9 million and multi-unit franchise commitments in key states including Nevada, New York, Texas and Washington.
