Cambodia Inspects Progress on Irrigation and Bridge Projects in Kampong Thom
In Cambodia's Kampong Thom province, progress on the Oudong Bridge and Kray Dam has been inspected. Secretary of State Chha Bunrith emphasized the infrastructure's role in improving residents' lives and local development, urging public cooperation in maintenance.
Kampong Thom Province, Cambodia – On the morning of September 20, 2026, His Excellency Chha Bunrith, Permanent Secretary of State of the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology and Head of the Working Group for the Base Commune of Mousa Krom, representing His Excellency Thao Cheath, Head of the Working Group for the Base District of Stung, led the working group to inspect the progress of the construction of the Oudong Bridge and the Kray Dam in the geographical area of Mousa Krom Commune, Stung District, Kampong Thom Province. During the occasion, His Excellency Chha Bunrith stated that the new physical infrastructure achievements currently taking shape in the land of Mousa Krom Commune are the result of the high attention and direct facilitation from His Excellency Minister Thao Cheath, along with relevant ministries and institutions. These efforts are aimed at responding promptly to the actual needs of the people, as well as promoting further development of infrastructure in the locality, facilitating travel and transportation, and improving the living standards of the people throughout the commune. His Excellency Chha Bunrith strongly recommended and urged all levels of local authorities, as well as all citizens in Mousa Krom Commune, to increase their sense of ownership by cooperating to preserve, protect, and utilize all these achievements for long-term sustainability and durability, to serve as a common benefit for future generations, under the leadership and continuous development efforts of the Cambodian People's Party.
