Vietnamese Artist in Paris Finds Love and Marriage with Australian Man

Ngo Huong Giang, a 47-year-old lecturer at the Versailles Conservatory in Paris, and Richard Horne, a 50-year-old director of a disability employment support center, have written a romantic love story across continents. Despite the geographical distance and initial opposition from Giang's daughter, the couple, both in their fifties, have embarked on a new journey together. In early February, Giang visited Australia and reconnected with Horne at a party. They had met two years prior in Australia but hadn't exchanged contact information. Horne, determined not to miss another opportunity, actively pursued Giang. Their connection was immediate, and Horne drove over 600 km to follow Giang's family during their southern vacation to seek permission for them to officially date. After Giang returned to France, Horne sent her long, handwritten letters up to 10 pages each week, accompanied by flowers and souvenirs.
