Preah Vihear Governor Meets Educators to Enhance Education Quality PREAH VIHEAR, July 9, 2026 -- Mr. Yi Tharin, Governor of Preah Nipp District, met and exchanged greetings with teachers and school administrators from the Hun Sen Tani Primary School Cluster, located in Tanaei Commune, Preah Nipp District, Preah Vihear Province, on Thursday morning, July 9, 2026. The meeting with teachers from the Hun Sen Tani Primary School Cluster aimed to understand the progress, challenges, and to jointly enhance the quality of teaching and learning effectively in the local area, particularly in strengthening the education sector locally. On this occasion, Governor Yi Tharin provided several important recommendations and key guidelines to the teachers. He urged them to continue implementing modern, student-centered teaching methods, pay attention to students facing difficulties, strengthen moral education and discipline, increase cooperation with parents and local authorities, and encouraged them to continue developing their professional skills and utilizing digital technology in teaching. He also promoted the use of teaching methods that foster deep thinking and practical application. He emphasized inclusive education, giving high attention to slow learners and students facing difficulties to ensure that no child is left behind. Discipline and virtue are important for moral education, good manners, love for the school environment, and general knowledge. Community participation enhances close cooperation between schools, parents, and local authorities to support children's learning and continuous learning. Teachers are encouraged to continuously develop their own capacities, especially in using digital technology as an aid to teaching. At the same time, the district governor expressed his gratitude and praised the teachers for their dedication of physical strength, mind, and intellect in cultivating human resources for the nation.
