Subsequently, the Department of Lands issued orders to revoke 29 land titles and is in the process of revoking an additional 5. Measures will also be implemented to prevent future issuance of land documents that overlap with forest areas. Furthermore, plans are being developed for the management of these reclaimed areas, prioritizing public benefit, such as establishing community forests to allow local residents to participate in conservation and sustainable use. "The key is that land reclaimed by the state should continue to be managed for the public good in accordance with legal provisions, especially through the establishment of community forests where local people can truly co-own and benefit.
