Kandal Province, Cambodia, on July 21, 2026, organized a workshop to disseminate and consult on the comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for the Funan Techo multi-purpose water resource development project. This includes water resource management infrastructure, water management equipment, and water and soil management engineering. The workshop's objective was to disseminate project information and study results, ensuring the preparation of a high-quality, complete EIA report. It also aimed to gather opinions from various specialized departments to incorporate into the project's requirements for smooth and sustainable development. The workshop was attended by Mr. Sreng Limhu, Deputy Governor of Kandal Province, representatives from relevant ministries and departments, authorities from cities and districts, CG SUSTAINABLE.
