Baste Duterte defends sister VP's GenCorp contracts amid impeachment trial

Davao City Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte testified on Tuesday in the impeachment trial of his sister, Vice President Sara Duterte, defending P33 million in government contracts awarded to GenCorp Industries Inc. He stated the contracts were above board but would not have allowed them had he known of his sister's ties.
