Over 50 houses collapse due to river erosion in Minbya, aid needed

In Minbya city, Rakhine State, continuous rainfall and the rising water levels of the Lemchaw River have caused riverbanks to collapse, resulting in the destruction of over 50 houses located along the river. The residents who have lost their homes are currently living in makeshift tents and are in urgent need of shelter and food assistance. While the ULA/AA has begun providing financial support to the affected households, the local residents are hoping to receive land for permanent settlement and basic livelihood assistance as soon as possible.
