Vietnam, Poland Explore Furniture Manufacturing Supply Chains

Vietnam and Poland are exploring cooperation to strengthen supply chains in the furniture manufacturing sector. This reflects Vietnam's determination to prioritize comprehensive cooperation, both bilaterally and multilaterally, and to make bilateral ties more substantive and effective. Poland is investing heavily in green technologies, including natural resource management, environmental protection, and industrial decarbonisation, said Wojciech Kusak, Counsellor for Political and Economic Affairs at the Embassy of Poland in Vietnam. Cooperation in this area is expected to contribute to achieving the sustainable development goals of both countries. Vietnam's economic growth remains robust, driven particularly by exports in processing and manufacturing, especially electronics, machinery, and equipment. Trade flows continue to grow at approximately 30% year-on-year, supported by strong demand for consumer goods and production materials. In this context, Vietnam is strengthening its strategies to enhance competitiveness in global supply chains. Through cooperation with Poland, Vietnam aims to optimize the entire supply chain for furniture manufacturing, from sourcing raw materials and production processes to the final delivery to the market. Combining Poland's technological capabilities and environmental considerations with Vietnam's manufacturing capacity is expected to create new business opportunities. Vietnam intends to further expand its access to European markets and deepen economic ties through strengthening relations with Poland.
