Landmasses from Coastal Uplift Declared Uninhabitable Geological Monuments

New landmasses formed by coastal uplift after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake in the Philippines are deemed uninhabitable and may be designated as geological monuments, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
