Major rail projects 'making progress'
The Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) reports that the southern extension of the Purple Line is over 70% complete, targeting a 2030 launch. Meanwhile, light rail and tram projects in Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Nakhon Ratchasima are advancing toward a 2032 operational goal.
